GeoTech @ EMSI Thematic Seminar, Brussels,November 7-8, 2024
The Erasmus Mundus Support Initiative (EMSI), an initiative of the European Commission, has organized a Thematic Seminar on “Planning and delivering jointness in Erasmus Mundus Master programmes”. Approx. 70 experienced academics and administrative staff from Erasmus Mundus Master Programmes, and approx. 20 representatives of the European Commission’s Executive Agency for the Erasmus Mundus Programme EACEA presented and discussed aspects of the implementation of Erasmus Mundus Masters programmes.
Amongst others, Dr. Christoph Brox, coordinator of the MSc in Geospatial Technologies, presented the experiences in our Masters programme. Within two sessions, he highlighted the Consortium’s expertise in joint recruitment and admission processes.
The presentations of a wide range of Erasmus Mundus Masters Programmes provided a fantastic insight into different aspects of running such a complex international study programme. And apart from the official programme, the thematic seminar was a great opportunity for networking, talk to experienced people about problems and solutions, and to get further insights, valuable and new even for “experienced Mundus implementors”.
