The Erasmus Mundus Master’s Degree in Geospatial Technologies at UJI has once again welcomed new students from countries as diverse as Sri Lanka, Rwanda, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Nepal, Tanzania and Colombia.

September 5th marked the beginning of the Semester for Geotech students at NOVA IMS. During orientation we had 12 students present. The other, still waiting for their visas, attended online. Here are some images of the event.

Geomundus, a conference for students by students, took place during November 26 and 27. This year’s conference motto was: Geospatial Technologies: Fancy Toys or Tangible Outcomes?. Last week our 1st-year master students at Nova IMS visited EPAL company. Epal is the company that handles water management in Lisbon. During their visit, our students were able to learn about the GIS infrastructure and techniques that EPAL uses to carry out the water management tasks in a big city like Lisbon.          […]
