Testimony for 17th EMA General Assembly session

As GeoTech representatives, two students of the current cohort attended the General Assembly of the Erasmus Mundus Students and Alumni Association (EMA, https://www.em-a.eu/) in Lisbon, Portugal, May 12-14, 2023. Please find the joint testimony as below:

We, Muhammad Omar Khan and Abraan Idrees participated in the 17th EMA General Assembly 2023 in Lisbon, under the theme “Upskilling & Reskilling for the Future: Connecting with Purpose, Networking with Impact”. It was a great pleasure to represent the Erasmus Mundus Master’s Programme of Geo-Spatial Technologies at the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA) and to contribute to the successful internationalisation of Higher Education. At the GA, we had the opportunity to build new bridges, solidify good connections, and co-facilitating one of the sessions. Furthermore, Abran Idrees won the first prize during the Scientific Research Poster Competition organized by EMA. We also extend our heartfelt Congratulations to the newly elected President and Vice President during the general assembly voting session. We once again would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our Program Masters Geospatial Coordinators, Erasmus Mundus Association and the European Commission for giving us spaces to use my voice to expand access to higher education.
